Calendars, video, ATS and Slack
The tools Emoti connects to in Settings > Integrations: Google Calendar and Outlook, Zoom, Google Meet and Teams, one applicant tracking system at a time, and Slack. How to connect and disconnect each one.
Connect the tools Emoti works alongside in Settings > Integrations: calendars, video calls, one applicant tracking system and Slack. Choose Connect on a tool, check what Emoti will be able to do, and choose Connect again. A connected tool shows Connected and the account it uses, with a Disconnect button.
Calendars
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| Google Calendar | Finds interviews on your calendar and books screens into free time |
| Microsoft Outlook | Finds interviews in your Outlook calendar and books screens into free time |
A connected calendar is how the notetaker knows which calls to join. Choose which ones it joins (all external calls, interviews only, or ask each time) in Settings > Notetaker. Your next calls appear under Upcoming in Conversations, where you can turn note-taking on or off for each one. You can also connect Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook while you set up a new workspace.
Video calls
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| Zoom | Joins and records Zoom meetings you host or are invited to |
| Google Meet | Joins and records Meet calls from your calendar |
| Microsoft Teams | Joins and records Teams meetings from your calendar |
These are where the notetaker joins and records your calls, as a participant everyone can see. How everyone on a call is told it's recorded is covered in The notetaker and call recording.
Applicant tracking systems
An applicant tracking system (ATS) integration keeps roles, candidates and stages in step, and writes notes and scorecards back. Connect one at a time: connecting a second ATS disconnects the first, and the connect dialog tells you so.
| ATS | What it does |
|---|---|
| Greenhouse | Syncs jobs and candidates, and attaches notes and screen scorecards |
| Lever | Syncs postings and opportunities, and attaches notes and scorecards |
| Ashby | Syncs jobs, candidates and stages, and attaches notes and scorecards |
| Workable | Syncs jobs and candidates, and adds notes to each profile |
| SmartRecruiters | Syncs jobs and applications, and adds notes to each profile |
With Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby, Emoti can also move a candidate to another stage when you approve it.
Slack
Slack posts shortlist, reply and screen alerts to you or to a channel, where your team already talks. Email and in-app notifications are set separately in Settings > Notifications: New reply, Screen completed, Notes ready, Applicant needs review, Invite accepted and Weekly summary.
Disconnecting a tool
Choose Disconnect, and Emoti says what stops before you confirm. Notes already written stay. A disconnected calendar stops the notetaker finding calls on it, and screens can't be booked into it. A disconnected ATS stops syncing, and nothing already in it is removed. If you disconnect Slack, email and in-app notifications carry on.
