Hiring has always been legwork

Finding people, reaching them, seeing who comes forward and writing it all down. The same four jobs filled offices for a century. Emoti does them so the people doing the hiring can spend their time on judgment.

A must-have holds the line

Mark a criterion as a must-have and anyone who misses it is capped at 54 out of 100, or 74 if they partly meet it, however well they match the rest. Switch it and see what changes for Chloé Tanaka, based in Bengaluru.

Questions

What is Emoti?

Emoti is a recruiting agent. It finds candidates from a plain-language brief, writes outreach for you to approve, runs first-round voice screens and takes interview notes, and it shows the evidence behind every ranking.

Does Emoti decide who gets hired?

No. Emoti ranks, drafts and summarises, and people make every decision. It never rejects a candidate on its own, and every screen result is reviewed by a person before anyone moves forward or is turned down.

How does Emoti rank candidates?

It reads your brief into criteria and checks each profile against them as met, partly met, missing or unknown. Must-haves count double, a missing must-have caps the score at 54 out of 100 and a partly met one at 74. The research paper on evidence-first matching explains the method and its limits in full.

Does anything go out without my approval?

No. Emoti drafts the first line of each message from the candidate's own work, and nothing sends until a recruiter approves it. Sending also respects a daily limit and a sending window you set, and any reply stops the sequence for that person.

Do candidates know when they are talking to AI?

Yes. The invite and the welcome page both say an AI interviewer asks the questions and that a person reviews the answers, and candidates confirm it before starting. They can ask for an adjustment or a conversation with a person instead.

Which AI models does Emoti use?

Emoti sends model requests through its own gateway. An admin assigns a model, with fallbacks, to each kind of task, and can see which provider and model handled each request. If no model is set up, built-in rules answer and Emoti labels the answer that way.

What does Emoti cost?

There is a free plan for one recruiter. Team is $79 a seat a month and Business is $139, with about 20% off when billed yearly. Every new workspace starts with a 14-day Team trial, and no card is needed.

Can I try it before talking to anyone?

Yes. Open the demo workspace to try every feature on sample roles, candidates and interviews, or start a free workspace of your own.
