Sending window, daily limit and deliverability
Set when outreach emails go out and how many a day, add your signature, choose a mailbox, and help keep your messages out of spam folders.
Outreach emails go out on weekdays inside your sending window, in each recipient's own time zone, up to a daily limit you set, with your signature at the end. All three are set in Settings > Outreach; after a change, choose Save outreach settings.
Sending window
Emails go out on weekdays, between the From and Until times you set, in each recipient's own time zone. With the default window of 08:30 to 17:30, someone in Singapore and someone in London both get your email during their working day. The window has to end after it starts.
Daily limit
The daily limit is the most emails Emoti sends from your mailbox in a day, across every sequence. The default is 60, and you can set any number from 1 to 500. Anything over the limit waits for the next sending window, so people still get every step, just later. Steady volumes help keep you out of spam folders.
The daily limit is a setting for deliverability, not a plan limit. Plans limit contact reveals, voice-screen minutes, recorded interview hours and open roles, not emails. See Plans, billing and contact reveals.
Signature and mailbox
Your signature is added to the end of every outreach email Emoti drafts for you, where the message has the "your signature" placeholder. The settings page shows a preview as you type.
Each sequence sends from one mailbox, chosen under Send from when you create it, and replies come back to that mailbox. The sequence page says which mailbox it sends from and who owns it.
When an email bounces
If an email can't be delivered, the person's status becomes Bounced and the sequence stops for them. The Outreach page shows bounces each week and as a share of emails sent. A rising bounce rate usually means old or guessed addresses, so check where they came from before you add more people.
Keep your emails out of spam
- Start low with a new mailbox. Raise the daily limit gradually over a few weeks.
- Keep volume steady. The daily limit spreads sending out for you.
- Keep bounces low. Don't guess addresses, and don't add people again after their email bounced.
- Write like a person. Short, plain messages with a personal first line and few links do better than heavy templates.
- Respect a no. A reply stops the sequence. Don't add someone again after they've said they're not interested.
- Make saying no easy. Emoti has no one-click unsubscribe link or workspace-wide do-not-contact list yet, so a reply is how people opt out. Say in your first message that a reply is enough, for example "Not for you? Reply and say so, and I won't write again."
- Set up your email domain. Ask whoever runs your company's email to set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC. That's done where your email is managed, not in Emoti.
